I believe a woman can’t have too many lipsticks. I carry one in every purse and pocket, and I’m very picky as to which I choose to bring along. Not only do I want it to last, stay true (not melt away as some pricy ones do, meaning; almost literally dissolve and break on application), feel soft, hydrate, not chap or crease lips, deliver sumptuous color, and if ever possible, since I use it so often, I want it to come in a pretty case. Maybe it’s too much to ask for.
However, I just got my hands, on Estēe Lauder’s NEW Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick and I think it covers all the above expectations, especially the hopes of a beautiful case.

In my opinion, for starters, it comes housed in the most beautiful and chic “hard case,” which snaps on after use due to a very original magnetic closure. The “hard case,” –I like to call it-, will withstand most temperature changes and will not betray you by dissolving or breaking, which is something that is happening a lot as companies try to make their lipsticks softer. This lipstick stands the test!
Color Intensity and range.
There are 20 colors to choose from. Usually companies start shy, with only a few shades to start out, but Estēe Lauder has gone all out with the launch of this new line, knowing all too well that these lipsticks will be a success. I agree.
The colors are very saturated. Only one swipe and you’ve got perfectly smooth color and shine. The shades range from subtle nudes to dramatic reds, so there is surely one or more to grab your fancy..
- They are long-lasting.
- Easily define and shape lips without the need to use a lip defining pencil.
- Add volume and shine for a pouty look.
- Soft glide on creamy application.
This is a real summer winner and I’m sure it will become the all-season timeless go to lipstick for many.
